Gun Grab – Tyranny in California
The People’s Republic of California…a nice place to visit but you wouldn’t want to live there. Especially now what with all the tyranny. If you’re not aware, California has a plethora of new guns laws, a pathetic and useless response the the San Bernadino terrorist attack. I won’t go through the list. Go here to read all about them. The new laws are what some are calling Gunpocalypse. Why? This is the response that we’ve been warned about.
These laws require confiscation of magazines, registration of firearms and vast databases for purchasing ammo. Thousands of magazines and semi-automatic weapons have been rendered illegal. Magazines that exceed arbitrary limits must be turned into authorities. Weapons that are outlawed must be registered (I guess confiscating guns was just a bridge too far). To purchase ammo you must register and get permission! Hell, if you loan a gun to your friend, even to hold it while you’re away from home, you’re both committing a felony. Tyranny, folks!
Expect Californians to make a run on ammo before the registration begins putting strains on supplies nationwide and driving up costs. I’d also imagine there will be a shortage of PVC pipe in sizes large enough to hold banned magazines. I suspect there will be a lot of caches of magazines, ammo and weapons buried all over California, like there is in Australia after their failed gun confiscation program, over the coming months. Expect Californians to concoct stories about giving away magazines and firearms to long gone buddies whose names they can’t remember to avoid confiscation and registry.
That my friends is called civil disobedience. One is not bound to follow an unjust law and these are the definition of unjust. I assume the progressive statists in Sacramento plan on doing this peacefully and hope law-abiding citizens do as they want and haven’t yet had enough of their oppressive laws. The only other option is sending law enforcement door to door to conduct illegal search and seizure operations. That wouldn’t not be a pretty sight. There was a revolution started over stuff like that if I remember correctly 😉
I assume some of these laws might be struck down in court. Others are nigh unenforceable. That doesn’t change the fact that these laws trample on the Constitution, specifically on the 2nd Amendment. They fly in the face of liberty and destroy precious individual rights. The majority, assuming a majority of Californians actually support these laws, cannot infringe upon the rights of the minority whenever they want. These actions must be resisted. If liberty loving Americans don’t take a stand now, tyranny may soon come knocking on your door asking for your guns.
Oh, have a happy Independence Day…and for those of your in California, have a happy “Independence” Day, comrade.
